I spent Fri. and Sat making 25 Christmas cards for my friend, My friend Mary helped me. the picture does not show the pretty

I embroidered these candy cane holders on the machine today. I stayed home allday!!I cooked my patatoes for the lefse I will make tomorrow. Brenda and the kids will come tomorrow.
Sean is already here hunting deer every day. Kim will come for dinner and Brad and Sue will stop in after a meal at her sisters here in Mondovi.

Had a nice time at the church,a pot luck supper and then an auction of donated crafts and thing.One interesting item was a green packer bag which sold for $27.50(which is good for Mondovi)bought by Bette A.I did not buy anything, I really have a lot of stuff.(80 years of stuff)
There has been some snow fluries here to day. It made me get out my winter coat.
I stay nice and warm since I started wearing long skirts and tights.

Went to the yellow dog yarn shop

in Eau Claire. I bought some yarn and a pattern to make fingerless mittens.

Then she (my sister) wwanted to go to the shop across the street. So we went and took advantage of the services there.

I made lefsa on thursday. I have been making the pieces smaller that way theyare not so fattening.Don't they look nice hanging on my cupboard door?

I need to get them downand put away as they are so nice and softand I want to keep them that way.

Christmas cards

It's a good feeling to have your Christmas cards all stamped and addressed before the end of October.
Now I will have time to make lefsa,filled cookies and poppy seed rolls.
I already have my gifts done for the cookie making week end,my trip planed,no I don't have my bag packed yet.
I may go to Kansas City on the bus as it only $100. round trip.That would be not until Dec.
I am going to Jack Harmon dinner on the 18th od this month(
tomorrow)I will try to not eat too many biscuits.It took one half hour to put this on the blog,which is why I am not appearing too often.

started out at 7:30 at the resturant with sausage and toast quarters,then to Eau Claire to my sewing club.

Back homefor a nap and to read my E-Mail, only one from Sean with a picture of his friends mule deer he shot.

I will now go to Eau Clair airport to pick up my son Mike from oregon.

Here are five of the group on Thursday AM, we then came home to wind more rope and sew more baskets.

Helping Trica with day care ,she has 4 to 6 children week days.Has a full basement with hundreds of toys and books.Ari is holding a 6 week old bab and is pulling a year and half one in wagon.Ari would of liked to stay there all day!!
